Belt sander for knife/tool sharpening Trapperman Forums

The one I like best for neglected stuff is the Worksharp ® belt knife sharpener. The problems is it are that is always sitting out of sight in a drawer somewhere when I need it; and it is too small for lots of stuff like mower blades, axes, etc. So, I'm in Harbor Freight and see a 1 x 30 belt sander. I thought it would be perfect:

The tool rest that comes with the sander can't be tilted to a steep enough angle anyway, even if the belt was rotating the correct way.
